God has presented us with a challenging ministry opportunity for 2017 and I would like to share it with you. Global REAP has the chance to take a missions trip to the Philippines from November 7th to November 15th. This journey will be a time to train 500 pastors and leaders as well as reach out and spread the Gospel to the Filipino people. While there we will learn more about the people and their culture.

We understand that the Philippines is under the threat of ISIS and other Muslim militant groups. Before things get any worse we need to go and equip the pastors and leaders (500 in Mindanao and 200 in Visaya). We will train these pastors and leaders to make disciples. They will disciple new believers who will plant churches that can withstand these challenging times.

God has given us a heart of compassion for the Filipino people and the exciting part is there are several ways that you can share in this mission.

1. First, you can pray for us. Ask God to prepare us for our visit and bless our efforts as we minister to the people of the Philippines.
2. Second, you can pray that our financial needs will be met. At this time we need to raise $10,000 which will allow us to go on the mission trip.
